ANA ESTEVE REIG.
MAR GUERRERO.

The exhibition DUO SHOW features the works El Oráculo by Ana Esteve Reig and Mujer sosteniendo la luna by Mar Guerrero.

In Mujer soteniendo la luna (Woman holding the moon), the main character appears in a certain atmosphere, peculiar of Friedrich or Jules Verne’s landscapes. From a quite ironic point of view, the artist narrates a possible independence of the moon from the earth. With photographies, actions and fictions, Mar tells stories about the opportunity of escaping our planet.

El Oráculo by Ana Esteve Reig is inspired by science-fiction movies and focuses on questions made through a mobile phone, which is considered by the artist as the oracle of the everyday life.

In both works are emerging unreal worlds that can be, at some point, touched with our own hands.
